They tell me seeing is believing,
But your eyes, ever seeing, are ignorant to my perspective.
You see? It leaves me seething!
Super power, we never cower.
It's the home of the brave, all the rave,
The land of the free.
At least, that's what they tell me.
That's what you see.
But I've seen worse, the human curse.
The world's not flawless,
Not in the least, it's a vicious beast.
So I ask you to open your mind.
Imagine a picture, an image of this kind,
Through me, see it with your ears.
22 million people, all on a dot
Surviving, they're not thriving.
We are fearful of the people on our streets,
But they are wary of the very ones who give them the food they eat.
They watch their backs,
The government is compromised, despised
And characterized by lies,
Because money's where it's at.
Those of you here, what do you think of that?
